The medical providers and staff at Childhood Health have always valued caring for children covered by Oregon Health Plan in our community. We consider this a key part of our mission.
Therefore, it is with sadness that we have decided to close to new OHP patients, including newborns as of August 1.
Unfortunately, our current contract with PacificSource Community Solutions does not cover the costs of caring for this population, which has led us to make this difficult decision.
We are asking for changes to our contract and welcome the opportunity to discuss the options to allow us to resume accepting new patients as soon as possible.
