Welcome to CHAOS!
Welcome to Childhood Health Associates of Salem, where we care for your children as if they were our own.
The pandemic is over, but infection control is still a priority. At this time, we are back to having patients check in at our reception desk just as we did pre-pandemic. While masks are no longer required in Oregon health care settings, we request that anyone coming into our office who has symptoms of possible COVID (cough, fever) wear a mask (except for infants and toddlers). We continue to sanitize patient rooms in between each visit and sanitize high touch areas on a regular schedule throughout the day. Special arrangements to minimize waiting-room time for medically fragile children can be made in advance.
Who are we at Childhood Health?
Childhood Health Associates of Salem, which we affectionately call “CHAOS”, was established in 1977 as an independently owned one-doctor pediatric practice. Over the years we’ve grown, moved to a new building in 2006, and added a number of comprehensive services. Today we are a group of pediatric medical and behavioral health professionals (and stellar support staff!) who believe that all children deserve quality preventive care, behavior health management, and chronic disease management. Pediatric care (for both special-needs patients and more typical kids) is our passion, and we look forward to seeing our young patients grow up happy and healthy!
