Professional Experience
I graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989. I received my Doctor of Medicine degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1994, then completed my Pediatric Residency at Doernbecher’s/OHSU in 1997. I joined Childhood Health Associates in October of 1997 and have been so fortunate to work at one of the best general pediatric clinics in the state. I have been board certified since 1997.
Personal Life
I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon where my family still lives. When I was 12 years old, I decided that I would become a pediatrician because I love children and learning about health. My hobbies include cooking, eating, traveling, making jewelry and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy listening to audiobooks, watching movies and television, sometimes while on my treadmill. I love music, especially from the 1970’s and 1980’s and I’m pretty good at karaoke and pretending to play the guitar, piano and drums. I was recently married in 2021 to my husband Jason (who actually plays the drums and guitar). We have 3 dogs that are quite spoiled.
